Terms of service

By creating an account or using AuditExport you agree to these terms. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization. This page is a product terms draft, not a claim that it has been reviewed by counsel.

The service is intended for business and professional finance work. You must be able to form a contract and must not use the service if doing so would violate law that applies to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy of account information, for keeping credentials confidential, and for activity that occurs under your user. Organization owners are responsible for who they invite and which role they assign.

You may use AuditExport to upload business spreadsheets, run matching and validation workflows, review exceptions, and export reports for your organization, subject to your plan limits.

• Breaking access controls, scanning other tenants, or abusing signed URLs
• Uploading malware, or using the product to distribute unlawful content
• Reselling the service or using it to attack our providers
• Circumventing plan limits or fake-billing restrictions in production
• Submitting content you do not have the right to process

You retain ownership of files and data you upload. You are responsible for the legality and accuracy of that content, including whether you may process personal or financial information in it.

You grant AuditExport a limited license to host, process, transmit, and display that content solely to provide the service (including backups our providers make as part of running infrastructure, and subprocessors listed in the privacy policy).

AuditExport and its software, design, and documentation remain our intellectual property. These terms do not sell you the product. They give you a subscription right to use it while your account is in good standing.

Display prices for Professional and Business are published on pricing. Checkout, invoices, and card collection are handled by Dodo Payments. A free plan exists so you can evaluate the product without paid checkout. Paid product IDs must be configured before a live upgrade can complete.

Paid subscriptions renew until you cancel. Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund / Cancellation Policy and by applicable law. Canceling renewal does not automatically create a refund. A customer may request a refund of their first paid AuditExport subscription payment within 14 calendar days of that first successful charge, as described on /refund.

We work to keep the service available but we do not guarantee uptime, recovery time, or that a particular feature will remain unchanged. We may modify or discontinue features with notice where practical. See status for how we talk about incidents.

Optional AI may explain or suggest from verified structured results. It does not make autonomous financial decisions, approve matches, or replace deterministic engines. You must review AI output before relying on it.

AuditExport assists with reconciliation, validation, audit-style checks, and reporting. It is not a substitute for professional accounting, legal, or tax advice. It does not guarantee that uploaded data is correct. You remain responsible for reviewing results, approvals, filings, and client deliverables.

To the extent permitted by law, AuditExport is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid to us for the service in the three months before the claim, or fifty US dollars if you are on the free plan. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits; in those places the limit applies only as far as the law allows.

You will defend and indemnify AuditExport against claims arising from your uploaded content, your misuse of the service, or your violation of these terms, except to the extent we caused the claim by our own willful misconduct.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, if required by law, or if a payment fails and is not resolved. You may stop using the service and cancel renewal as described on refund.

You can export reports the product generates. Organization deletion and retention follow product controls described in the privacy policy. We do not promise instant erasure of every backup replica our providers keep.

We have not published a specific governing-law jurisdiction on this site. If a dispute arises, the applicable law and venue will be those a competent court determines, or those we later specify in an updated version of these terms. We will not invent a jurisdiction here.

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continued use after the last-updated date means you accept the new version. This version is effective September 27, 2026 and was last updated September 27, 2026.
